FISHING The beach can be accessed by two-wheel drive at either Myalup or Preston Beach. Four wheel drives can drive along the beach between the two boundaries. Please lower your tyre pressure and drive at sensible speeds along the beach. The best fishing is generally found toward the Myalup end of the beach, but as the beach is always changing, it's best to have a drive along on the day and look for any likely gutters or holes that could be holding fish. Species most likely to be encountered are herring, tailor, whiting and flathead. At night small sharks and mulloway are sometimes caught. The usual rigs and fishing methods will work for these species. CAMPING Camping is not allowed on the beach, so pre-booking at either Preston or Myalup Caravan Parks is recommended.
