Deserted by "Willo" (reckons he had family commitments) I called for volunteers to assist in the scoring and was mobbed by
the lads willing to help. A quick information talk and all was set for another good day.
With the seniors on distance first up, I participated with the vets in the double handed accuracy event. Boy, were they on
fire, a double bullseye by Roy the Boy, TerryF and AJ both belted out a clanger, and with Mal, Trev, Jim and Alphonse scaring
the #### out of the marker cones, the pressure was really on. But, with sheer determination, a touch of class, and a lot
of ..., I brilliantly overcame the pressure and took them all on!!!
Meanwhile I overheard the seniors having a good time and stirring each other. Guess the cross wind put a few off because
the score sheet shows a few out of bounds casts. Still, some encouraging distances were obtained, especially Joe
Pullella's distances. Nic took the honours for the 112 gram and shared the artificial bait event with George. Good to
see Aubs back into the swing of things.
